Hello,
My name is Media.
I am a watercolor painter and pattern designer based in beautiful Budapest, Hungary.
I paint florals in watercolor style and I design seamless patterns with my artworks.
I am inspired by the beauty of nature, and my work is often inspired by the flowers in my garden.
I love experimenting with colors and patterns.
Each piece of art that I create is unique. My floral patterns have been used by top fashion designers, interior designers, and textile manufacturers around the world who want to beautifully decorate the surface of their products.
When I was a little girl, I would spend hours upon hours in our garden, painting and drawing.
I was never without my trusty box of crayons or my favorite set of paints.
My parents would often find me lost in my own world, creating some new masterpiece.
It was during these times that I discovered my true passion in life: art.
I loved experimenting with different mediums and styles, and it was through my exploration of art that I found my true passion – painting flowers with watercolors!
When I first started out by painting florals on paper, I was fascinated by the way colors blend together and the way the petals would look like they were floating on the paper to create a beautiful work of art.
I loved the challenge of trying to capture the beauty of nature with my paintings and I was drawn to the way watercolors could be used to create such beautiful and delicate paintings: The way each color has its own unique personality, and how they can be combined to create something truly special.
For more than a decade, I’ve been working professionally as a freelance artist, and over the years, I have honed my skills and developed my own unique style.
A couple of years ago, I decided to try digital painting using the iPad Pro and Procreate.
I discovered that in digital painting I could be more precise with my brushstrokes and that I could create more detailed artworks with this medium, making seamless patterns and designs that were truly unique.
After creating seamless patterns with my art for a while, I started licensing my art to be used by those who wanted to create pretty things!
Today, my art has been licensed by some of the top designers and manufacturers in the world.
It’s so gratifying to see my artwork being used in fashion, interior design, and other creative ways to decorate otherwise blans surfaces and bring them to life.
I have found immense joy in sharing my passion with others through art and I'm so grateful that I can share my creations with the world and to see it being used in such beautiful ways.
It brings me happiness and satisfaction to know that my art is enjoyed by so many people all over the world. That’s why every day, I wake up excited to start painting and creating new patterns :)
So far, it's been such a rewarding experience, and I will continue to do so for as long as I can!
I feel very lucky to be doing what I do - creating beautiful art that brings joy to others!
